RYA Competent Crew practical

Practical courses last 5 days onboard sailing yacht Delphia 37 in Gulf of Gdansk. The training crew is a maximum of five people which facilitates individual approach to every participant and gives more time for maneuvering exercises and learning the basics of yacht handling.  

Each day of the course is filled with intensive training on general duties, setting and handling sails, safe work on deck and steering. During stops in ports you can revise or consult the instructor. The course if

The programme of the course includes, among others:

• steering the yacht,
• sail handling and setting,
• basics of observation and look out,
• onboard safety,
• all necessary tasks to become an active and competent crew member.

Communicative command of English is needed.
